Yes there is truth in the Bible.
However you are reading a translation, of a translation.
Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, filtered through scholars and scribes minds to find the correct phrasing and context.
Let alone the interpretations that have been made along the way.
Unless your reading an original text you are reading a historic representation or perception of the text.
Who controls the printing of the text, controls the perception of it and its historical signifigance.
The printing of bibles and gods words have been a vastly sought after privilege for this reason.
If you dont know the history of your knowledge, you are just NPC vibes....

Yes there is truth in 3:16

Seems pretty much like this case is closed right? Well I do read the original text, but that isnt really necessary.
Unlike some religious texts, the Bible does not shy away from the fact that men wrote it. It plainly says it in the preambles of Luke and 1 John. It states plainly that prophets (men) who were carried along in the Spirit of God.
Unlike any religious text, the Bible claims history, because it is the only one that will subject its claims to what we call “reality” or “history”. People have tried many times to prove falsehood, but after a few decades their claims prove false.
This is far superior to the post I was quoting. Which is eastern driven for “I give up, nothing is real”.
You wouldnt even have the concept of universal truth to argue against if it hadnt been for the Bible. And even the competing claims from Islam and western Atheism would not exist if it werent for the Bible because they are just lame offshoots and reactions to Christianity.
