Building the Bitcoin economy from the ground up requires Bitcoin being spent. People who are actually doing the hard work will never have as much Bitcoin as they have today as that is programmed into deflationary economics of Bitcoin. I believe the whole point here is to use Bitcoin in ways that let you FOCUS and enable you to spent MOST TIME on THE MOST IMPORTANT things TODAY. Future is uncertain.
