The offline-first piece is especially interesting. If messaging can remain functional without dependence on a central server, then sync through decentralized networks when connectivity returns, that’s a meaningful step beyond simply calling something “Web3.”
The real test will be whether DCN can make censorship resistance, privacy, and user sovereignty feel as seamless as a centralized messenger. If it can, that’s powerful.
