Here it is. Kind of finished it. The guitar I was repairing. Perhaps a little adjustment here and there. I will be playing it a bit until I am sure I can give it to it's owner. The last things I did was nut and saddle with bone. Couldn't take pictures since my phone died and resurrected. #guitar #luthier #woodworking #handtools https://blossom.primal.net/f513b491017b347f13372cde274b5d35ee8ac27eb758e5b849af54c75e979a08.mp4

Here are a couple of pictures I took about the bone saddle and nut. The nut was plastic and not bad, I tried to give it a chance but it broke at minimum force. Sometimes those plastics don't even age well. So I made a bone one. The glove in my hand is because I cutted a piece of my finger when I planed part of the bridge. And I had no band aid or even tape. So the glove worked. The thing on the paper is not blood, its some kind of ink. That layout paper is a nice tool to help you fast gauge and mark the nut spacing of the strings. Anyways. Good luck! nostr:nevent1qqs87sse9lalz83mplpagfrz9dycyq7xtj2v8vqpnfvh0laqnujcr6czyq3mdsxw83cjec9uaa82lytjtnzzjelle5zn6jhv7hgn0sc0mnnt2qcyqqqqqqgmjeyad image image image image
