My self programmed boltcard connected to my own node is working fine, no need for a whale, shrimp or tuna fiat card. We just need merchant adoption for bitcoins directly. In the meantime better sell your BTC for cash non-kyc when you cannot pay in sats.

Native Bitcoin spends at all merchants is the utopia we all want, until then private and convenient solutions like this work really well to bridge the gap.
I understand if you cannot get a credit/debit card for some reason, but if you have already one or, as often, many cards, why use yet another card that will just take you extra fee and link your bitcoin wallets to a kyc system (even if they don't ask for you kyc directly, you will leak a lot of informatiom that will link your identity). That's why I say, better use cash when you want to protect your privacy and excisting credit/debit when you have no choice.
I hate all my fiat banking services, they all failled on me in a way or another, blocked fund, blocked app because I use a specifi OS, increase fee over time and remove features I signed for,...
As soon as I can make them bit the dust, I will, with no heasitation, they deserve to die.
Until then, yes we have to make compromise, but this one I don't see the point and never had, sorry, no offense. Maybe it fits a specific need of yours, fine for you. I have also see people in Bitcoin meetup praising these kind of service but I never understood why and usually they fail to argument why they need it.
