You do more damage with the tarp than leaving them like this. At 50 km/h, without even spinning wheels, it's perfectly fine when compared to the tarp scratching the cars.

Interesting. I wouldn't have thought about tarps scratching.
Still I'd think wraping them with something 🤔
Even new cars aren't wrapped; they cover them in grease from the factory until they reach the dealer's shop.
