I do not know what is winder (and was not able to find clear meaning), so I possibly do not get the sentence about electricity right. Which makes me confused about why exactly is the solar not an option?

Winter :D it's wierd typo
To be able tu run house on solar only in winter you would need a **really big** field of panels next to it.
