True, and they don't care because they just want dollars.
Maybe the steel man case for stablecoins is that they teach people how to store 12 word keys.
That way, when governments use stablecoins to hyperinflate the value of fiat away, the stablecoins users can transition to a Bitcoin standard easier.
Fair enough. I just hope we're ready when they invariably don't want the dollars anymore.
