Far from the UK format which is an App (with access to all your digital trail).
In PT so far it's a document with a digital backend for services.
It's not mandatory to use it digitally so far, you can still aceess normaly.
But sure... Sliperry slope and we have started to see some developments.
Switzerland voted yes for something in between yesterday. I think it will be an app but not mandatory. But the slippery slope is built in.
