Let's see his npub so we can zap him and he can play @Blockstr!
Now that's an interesting proposition!! He's not on social yet. Maybe it's time to Nostr him!
Brings us to the next question, we got any nostrt Android clients kids friendly ? Something dad can keep an eye on ? We need an offspring Nostrt parental control version or equivalent.
Nothing there just yet. Heavily monitored by me right now for my kids.
Primal prbly safest at the moment.
@Constant, @Sebastix and co are cooking something up.
@Ben Weeks ⚡ was looking into it too.
We need that 💯 especially for the youngsters
How old is your son? I have two daughters 6y and 3y
11-8-5 !
everything i build is for them.
Preparing the tools for the next generation.
Way back I created a NSFW draft PR but that bloated the app quite a bit (I think I recall it used an open source NSFW AI model from Yahoo!). Probably also needs relays that are kid friendly (paid service?) and/or web of trust. Lots of stuff that can be done in this area.
my coding skills are inadequate to contribute to such work requirements, but if there is anything i can do on a hardware level I am down! We need to bring this item to the top of all our future discussions and meetups. Tools to onboard the next generation are critically important.
Using WoT contextual filters by default is the most valuable mechanism to compete with the status quo (which are using LLMs and other content only driven detection tools). Nostr provides a unique open and social layer on which we can build upon.
We totally need something like that.
It's not too hard I imagine:
- you fork one of thr clients
- hard code your family relay (or even school relay)
- gate the relay (approved npubs only)
and you have a private social network.
