In NIP-46 (a Nostr protocol for remote signing), if both the signer app and the requester app are running on the same mobile device, it is unreasonable to route signature requests and responses through a relay.

We’re not certain which existing Nostr clients come with a built-in local relay.

Perhaps we shouldn’t aim too high—NIP-46 is likely good enough for now. We can revisit whether to support NIP-46 login in Keychat later.
That’s understandable, sending requests to a local relay within Keychat could assist in the signing translation and keep features consistent across platforms ❤️
I guess I’ll never be able to use the app then I haven’t been able to figure out the other login methods This is a huge barrier to entry Login should be easy You gotta be a coder of some magical developer to figure the shit out
