I sent a demand letter asking for:
Only owing $10k on my home.
$430 monthly payments (as originally agreed)
$20k Lump sum or $1675 monthly payments for 1 year.
Or I can take them to court.
($163,000 against them according to Michigan law, attorney fees, and court fees)
Payments for my house have gone into an escrow account as of today. It's just waiting for them to send me the eviction papers. Then they get to explain my stack of evidence, to the judge.
Hopefully I get my money back, or own my home outright and actually get left alone to enjoy it!
Either way, it means more sats for me, whatever the judge decides.
