Last month I couldn’t make the payment, and this month is tight again. The landlord locked them out and now wants two months upfront.

That is a good question, maybe I should ask that to myself. Kenya was the worst country I been and the blocked me for lifetime! That would be one reason to stop it, next to many more reasons! Thank you for making me rethink!
Even I am always broke because of that, don't have a own home and Kenya blocked me for lifetime to enter the country!
