for data leak risk sake, it sucks bad, like not as bad as genome sequence leak bad, but still
for businesses and data exchanges, this is just sensors that already gather this data, which is not being taken advantage of and not being turned into profit
at the end of the day, you are nothing more than a convertable data asset that can be converted to money

Oh interesting. If I am understanding correctly, that's the one place where biometrics do shine, in general: as a backup check. The classic scifi is not off on this one: as a quick scan to get into the sensitive lab or something in an already secured context. An extra measure in a fully identified context. A cherry on a defense in depth sundae in a maximum security context like a bank vault.
