I didn't even know about custodials when I bought my first sats. The idea of having my sats somewhere else than in my own control would have seen ridicolous to me then. 😂 It's like last month that I used a costodial solution for the first time, moved 10k sats to fountain app. Some sats in custodial ln is ok I think, like having some fiat cash in your wallet. You are ok with loosing it, the convenience is worth the risk. Still hope that fountain isn't going to rugpull me 😁

Exactly. Your time has value, and running 100% fully “self custodial everything” takes time that most people don’t have.
