Any recommendations for quality thornproof gardening gloves. Pro ones not some Chinese crap from Amazon.

I think Black & Decker ones are pretty good
Welding gloves are what I use with my cacti. They're not completely "ouch proof", but they are if you still pay attention to what you touch/grab. If I need to do some serious handling (like repotting one), then I also use wads of paper from grocery bags, or paper for packaging. Cardboard can help too.
Check your local gardening stores.
Avoid the plastic junk.
Ask for leather gardening gloves.
Leather is certainly leading at this point…
I am not a big gardener. But if you don’t find a good gardening one maybe look for a good industrial glove
