Food is wildly leveraged & programmed. I’ve been focusing on deep diving my own addiction & non-beneficial associations with it. A couple notes on the progression: 1. During Corporate Career Lifestyle - I did not even have awareness of this and did the ‘normal’ while feeling shame simultaneously without having any idea what to look at. 2. Now - with a non-traditional lifestyle: food has become a grounding & intentional act. I’ve allowed time to reveal insights as they appear instead of stressing or forcing, but asking & focus instead - for example: why do I stress eat? A common factor for women, not all. 3. Current Awareness: I enjoy 2 meals, especially with hormone balancing & cycle changes that accompany the aging female bio-system. There were many steps along the way of experimentation. I still like to munch & snack and that is next on my focal point to understand without looking for an external reason. #playinginthefountain
True. And it's also a nonsense. Don't know which ancesstors she's talking about, but 3 meals were basically a standard in ancient Greece and Rome. In middle ages, dinner and supper was commo pattern within wealthy and clergy (for religous reasons mostly). Peasants have two meals too (breakfast and laege meal after work). Later even 3 meals. Rockefellers have emeged in 17th century and I suppose they didn't give shit about what and how people eat back then.
