I have been running #GrapheneOS on my Pixel 8 for about a year now, and I have gotten myself into a bit of a mess with app stores. Apps have been installed using F-Droid, Droid-ify, Obtainium, Zapstore, or Aurora. Do you have any advice on how to clean up? Which app store should I focus on?

based. the more the merrier ๐๐
I just use zapstore for Foss and Aurora for the most mainstream apps that are not in zapstore.
I'd rather manage my apps on zapstore & obtainium over FDroid.
I have all 3 plus Aurora on my phone.
If I can theoretically manage it on Zapstore but can't because I installed it somewhere else, I'll uninstall & install again.
To update all my software, I still need to go to 4 apps but I proritize Zapstore > Obtainium > Aurora > FDroid
I have very little in FDroid now
Take a hard look at what you have and what you really need, reduce number of apps and go all in with Obtainium.
If you install reproducible apps, it doesn't matter where you update from
Have never personally met anyone who fully understood backup and restore on #GrapheneOS, so I will stick with this store a little longer. ๐ฅถ At least everything in one place, including updates.
