Maybe Microsoft will look into this? I think it's their fault. Make a change like that shouldn't require a defense at the level of MEV.
All in all, seems like no big deal. 1. They had to rebrand. But they were always gonna have to rebrand with a name that obvious. No company in Anthropic's shoes would let it stand. They didn't even go after them for a lot of money like other companies might've. They just made them rebrand. 2. Some retards got rugpulled. Anyone falling for crypto airdrop bullshit in 2026 deserves it. 3. Security vulnerabilities. This ones actually serious, but completely unrelated to the name change shenanigans and would've happened either way. Honestly there's no real consequences to this. Nothing except the unrelated security issues is losing trust in his project. People will find the new repo.
From Clawd To Molten. Rough ride. Would love to see the security hardened and for the project to mature. Needs guardrails to keep users from just handing all these Mac minis to hackers. πŸ™ˆ View quoted note β†’
