It didn't work better if it did then other sites would have done it but no site after reddit did it because they all know voting up & down is a waste of time & only encourages grievance. To each their own opinion.

You're a stupid piece of shit for using Cunningham's Law with me instead of just asking me questions. I'm not the person to do this with.
Digg is an example of an "other site" that also used the same design. They stopped doing it for the same reason reddit did - because it worked too well and they are centralized platforms so they do what the money printers want, with no regard for what users want.
If you don't stop wasting my time with your disingenuous bullshit, I'm going to feed you your family's entrails.
Never saw digg & reddit didn't stop the up & downvotes so congratulations on proving what your saying is incorrect. Even if I looked at digg you got one site compared to what came out after /r twas twitter/x, instagram, mastodon, misskey/calckey/firefish, spacehey, blusky, & etc none of them used it because the whole feature is stupid & pointless.
If you have nothing intelligent to add further & are just going to stick to anticdotes please take your vessel of hatred & fill it with your own entrails so you may quote the saying.
"I saw my corpse & from my mouth crawled hatred"
