it's not just meta, it's almost all websites and platforms, there's really no way for them to make money so they just allow all ads, they don't want to waste time and vet the ads because revenue would plummet. the whole internet is garbage and fake because of the fiat system, Bitcoin is slowly cleaning it up, which is good luckily for me I use ad blocker and rarely see ads, I think zap advertising works better, I've seen it on nostr and it's doesn't bother me
