Money corruption is not new!
E.g. in Ancient Rome, money wasn’t just debased—it was weaponized. Silver coins were gradually mixed with cheaper metals, eroding trust and fueling inflation. Soldiers demanded higher pay, goods cost more, and the empire’s stability crumbled. Monetary corruption hollowed out Rome from within.
