Imagine eggs poached in cream and Gruyère with an assist from bacon and you have imagined Oeufs Cocotte (Baked Eggs). I overcooked the yolks a little and it was still amazing. I did have to buy these cute little clay pots for $21 each so it's a good thing I liked the dish. Original recipe ⬇️

Bacon on top is better than on the bottom. The cream makes it a little soggy. The cook times may take longer than the recipe calls for. Play it be ear.
