I would not trust my communications to be 100% secure unless it was software I wrote or audited using already established crypto libraries only on devices that are specifically isolated for this purpose

Anybody can find fault in anything, especially when logic and reason are tossed to the side of the road then left for dead. Critical Thinking is done.
I find it interesting that the quote taken omits the part before the underline which is actually exculpatory in my eyes...they're actively saying they're not down with taking the Silk Road path. When combined with the full context it's basically a repudiation of those use cases + basically making an agnostic statement that criminals gonna crime...
