because of inefficiencies in general nostr design, more relays * larger list of people you are following = massive network usage and errors. im using over 100 GB / month and thats just on one device (amethyst)

Hmmm. Now that you bring that up, I've noticed my #nostr client consumes an enormous amount of mobile data. It's insane. I've even disabled image and profile picture loading but no effect. What exactly is consuming all that data if nostr notes and 'accounts' are just text/jsons? #asknostr
