Hey nostr:nprofile1qqsg86qcm7lve6jkkr64z4mt8lfe57jsu8vpty6r2qpk37sgtnxevjcpremhxue69uhkummnw3ez6ur4vgh8wetvd3hhyer9wghxuet59uq3wamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwdehhxarj9e3xzmny9uqsuamnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dshs24gyzc I was just listening to your recent pod with nostr:nprofile1qqsvfr3f7p95stxqrjslnmuvsmhcxxxqt8swjdfjx5tz7zq0yms5cygpzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcpzdmhxue69uhk7enxvd5xz6tw9ec82c30av56d8 and I heard you say that all the people talking about NGU are still part of the control system.
As I see it, without fiat denominated ARR, Bitcoin would never have gained enough notoriety for you, I, or a majority of other present day bitcoiners to acknowledge it beyond passing interest.
There may be a semantic argument about whether Bitcoin is gaining value or fiat is losing value, but I see NGU as critical for adoption and the real world increase in purchasing power is essential for bitcoins success.
As more individuals are liberated in fiat terms they will be free to allocate more of their time to the emerging system and deploy capital to solve problems that matter to them personally, rather than only towards profitable endeavors.
If I am missing something would you mind elaborating on this?

Completely agree
NGU has been broken this year
Yes
Would NGU become meaningless if Bitcoin succeeds?
Co-signed, I caught that in the pod as well.
Purchasing power should continue to increase forever.
"The natural state of a free market is deflation."
I suppose it's up to you if that's considered NGU or not.
I'd say it is still NGU.
