Psycho almost isn't the right word for it. She's not crazy. She's evil. A highly rational and extremely amoral type of evil that pretends to be good while destroying lives to get what you want.

Sure would be an interesting time to "go crazy" and go after anybody into cryptography that may not be aligned with US empire interests.
Unless shes just completely lying which is obviously just as likely
