Is there any scenario at all where Fiat currency potentially withstands this speculation ? Or do I need to tap the sign @Lyn Alden
Bitcoin only device to reduce risk exposure of more software on device. Buy 2-3 of different brands (direct and new only) to practice multiple setups and multiple recoveries. You'll lean towards a personal fav then buy another new spare, test it and clear it, then keep it off site at a family member house (not apt).
The credit-based fiat monetary systems can only exist through ongoing expansion and inflation. They will continue on this trajectory until they ultimately collapse.

Also probable that it doesn’t necessarily collapse but keeps losing value relative to the new system. Slow death for the vast majority not seeing it. Eg: In India, it’s glaringly obvious that the Fiat system has been impoverishing the middle class downwards for years and yet you can still see this perpetuate into the future. All of this while the ones who are waking up are being humble and stacking sats. Almost like a natural selection.
