We wish to inform the public that students currently in blockade at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU) have recently begun accepting donations in the form of Bitcoin. This initiative has been met with strong support from members of the crypto community across Serbia and the Balkans. In addition to generous contributions, many individuals have shared valuable technical advice aimed at enhancing the transparency, usability, and efficiency of the campaign. Our Linktree profile initially included both on-chain and Lightning Network Bitcoin wallet addresses, alongside links to our social media channels. These addresses were reshared by several crypto accounts to help amplify our cause among those who support student movements and use Bitcoin as a payment method. Over time, we transitioned to the Coinos platform for improved usability. The previously used wallet addresses remain technically valid, but they are no longer publicly displayed on our Linktree. We categorically distance ourselves from recent speculations and negative commentary targeting the accounts @n_grbovic(X) and the now-suspended @₿itcoin Serbia 🇷🇸 ⚡🚀 Accusations suggesting that these individuals attempted to exploit or redirect funds do not originate from us. We believe such claims were made by well-intentioned individuals seeking to protect our efforts, but they have unfortunately generated unnecessary confusion. All funds remain securely under our control. We deeply appreciate the solidarity and support we’ve received, and we reaffirm that everything is proceeding transparently and responsibly.
