I have never seen a more absurd argument, Bitcoin is a young currency in the process of capitalization, use it, add to its capitalization more goods and services and it will cease to be volatile. Really the solution to volatility is to use your enemy? In terms of strategy it is totally absurd, it is good for Linux that we use Windows while Linux does not have enough market share? How few Bitcoiners are left, I'm getting more and more disgusted by this community. image View quoted note →

I think for most people, they just can't easily spend Bitcoin, even if they wanted to. Many times in real life I've offered to pay people in Bitcoin. Guess how many people took me up on my offer? Zero.
Some people do not want Bitcoin to replace the status quo, but just benefit from it. They simply want to make Bitcoin to be the new paypal for fiat, and continue using fiat, not destroying it. They are simply fiat maxis disguised in bitcoiners. Cockroaches of the fiat system. image
I too have been disappointed by how many professed Bitcoin maxis are still fundamentally stuck in a fiat mindset. They cheer on the cooption of Bitcoin by Saylor and Fink and now Mallers & Co as if it is just a clever digital asset to be used for the accumulation of more fiat. Ultimately all they're doing is sullying Bitcoin in an attempt to keep fiat on life support.

If the internet is down for more than 3 days... you have waaaaay bigger problems than accessing your bitcoin. People will kill you for a bottle of water on a city street. Are you prepared for that?

Not true you don’t need the internet to live. When I was young we didn’t even have a computer and when we finally got one I didn’t have a modem or internet. You’re quickly forgetting how irrelevant and unneeded the internet once was.
Stacking & using Bitcoin is not the end goal. Being sovereign is. You must shape your life in such way that you don't need gov (or anyone really) to survive—grow your own food, generate your own eletricity, own many guns for self-defense. You don't need Internet, or even Bitcoin. image

Always on high speed internet is brand new in terms of humanity’s timeline. It is also a fallible system. People alive today have never and will never use the internet. That’s how new it is.
You don't need big gov that steals all your money (by force) and with tentacles on every aspect of your life and freedoms, to have Security(military or whatever).

We don’t need taxes this high, but basic fire, EMT, police and military is essential. Obviously it would be cool if we can all live in peace in a jungle and are never bothered, but it just isn’t super realistic. We gotta take care of each other and it’s super effective to have highly trained and accountable citizens step up into these very hard or dangerous roles.
