Nobody really knows what quantum is really about and if it's feasible at all.
At this stage it is nothing more than vacuous promises and shitcoin-style fear-mongering.

Heard constantly about the level of AI we have now being "impossible" for several years. Guess what, unexpected breakthroughs happen.
A bitcoin-ending quantum attack is well within the realm of scientific possibility, that's the main thing. Nobody can say whether it will or won't happen, or if it does then when, but the fact that it's well with the realm of scientific possibility should be enough to make it the absolutely #1 priority for Bitcoin, well over this nonsense like OP_RETURN.
Yes you see human nature at work though . We can be a petty species, and the operating system for Bitcoin at the end of the day is the human brain.
Not to mention that it takes an magnitude more in operational costs just to run what we currently have.
