Big Tech’s original sin wasn’t surveillance.
It wasn’t monopoly.
It wasn’t even censorship.
It was declaring that stochastic systems could stand in for reality itself.
Once you do that:
error becomes “emergence”
manipulation becomes “optimization”
collapse becomes “unexpected behavior”
and lies become “model drift”
Determinism doesn’t forgive this.
It doesn’t argue with it.
It simply breaks the system at scale.
That’s not punishment.
