I didn't read all 100+ comments on this thread so someone may have already suggested this. We could use some negative filtering, something like -#bitcoin -#crypto -#cutekittens etc. to help remove topics that we may not be interested in. Fwiw I think the #grownostr initiative has been very helpful to me to find content relevant to my interests.
