If you want a #gun in Germany this is a small overview of what you have to do for it (in my district): -be a member of a shooting association. -be a member of a shooting club for at least one year to prove that you need a gun. -in this year either be at the shooting range once a month or 18 times in total at least and document it. -pass a knowledge exam, which costs a lot of money and study a 348-page book to prepare for the exam, without getting this done you can't even request becoming a gun owner. -you should have a clean criminal record. -you need a special gun safe. -for every weapon you own you must shoot at least one discipline and each weapon has to be approved and registered extra. -you have to "get naked" and will be tested for suitability to your bones when applying for the "Waffenbesitzkarte". -the authorities can knock at your door at any time to check if you are storing your weapons correctly or not and you have to let them in if you want to keep your permission. -you are only allowed to carry the gun if you're on your way to a shooting range, a tournament,... -it must always be transported in a closed case (locked off), separated from the ammunition. -you must continuing be able to prove that you are active in a club and need the weapon, otherwise you will lose your permission if you get checked. -If you say something or post a meme the government don't like, they can always say you are unreliable and revoke your permission. Also i am sure i forgot a lot of relevant points... Alternatively you can also just stop licking shoes of wannabe tyrants and print a gun by yourself, because exactly for such cases there is the #3d2a image

It is absolutely bad for your freedom but i also try to get my license because i hate to find a place where i can train with a printed one and to make the ammunition myself. But i have a bad criminal report so let's see if i can get one.
Join a local gun club > go shooting as often as possible over a year > take the exam > let the club issue you a proof of need > apply for a permit, if approved, register the weapon
Yeah have fun doing this without connections to a clan or something like that. The Guy who sellls you the gun is probably a fed or a scammer. The dark market for guns in germany is fucked up.

Yes. I think having the skill and being well practiced is better for your freedom, despite loosing some rights.
