No, we are not going to a post scarcity, abundant , no money, high universal basic income future.
We as a species are expert at creating hierarchy. We even make up stuff like expensive purses and watches solely for this purpose.
We also have a lot of power hungry people working very hard to limit people’s access to resources, even if there are/would be enough.
Scarcity is so closely tied to value and meaning, that believing it would go away , is the height of naive utopian thinking
