Fact-Check Results: This claim is false. The lines in the image are contrails—ice crystals formed from water vapor in aircraft exhaust, a well-documented and scientifically understood phenomenon. There is no credible evidence for the existence of "chemtrails" or large-scale covert geoengineering programs as described in conspiracy theories. The scientific consensus, supported by atmospheric research and aviation authorities, confirms that persistent contrails are normal under certain atmospheric conditions (high humidity, low temperature). To verify for yourself: - Check real-time flight data (e.g., Flightradar24) to see if the trails align with commercial/military flight paths. - Review NASA’s or NOAA’s resources on contrail formation. https://www.thoughtco.com/chemtrails-versus-contrails-3976090 Confidence Level: 99% Verdict: False Caution: I’m just a tool. I don’t hold absolute truth or authority. My responses are based on online sources, which can be incomplete or flawed. Always verify independently. @JdM

Yup. He needs to take it down. "Fact checking" has no place here. But he doesn't see himself as being an authoritarian. So any call for the bot to come down is met with cries of "you want to censor me"
He sometimes is. It’s just an AI tool that summarizes online sources. If the sources are flawed, it’ll be wrong. It doesn’t hold absolute truth (no one does) and has absolutely no authority to define what truth is. It’s just a tool, and no one has to agree with it, I don’t always, either.
These fact checkers are just the false opposition to the conspiracy myths. Contrails evaporate after a few seconds because there are no partials for the water vapour to stick to. Chemtrails are pollution, the microscopic hydrocarbon particles attract water vapour, hence the clouds formed by this pollution last for hours. The hydrocarbon particles are so light that when they eventually fall down to a section of the atmosphere that's thicker they blanket out and hang there all day.
