First Coldcard, now Liquid.
The Monero Gang always told you Bitcoin Maxis are retarded.
We told you anon. We fucking told you.

Hashrate follows price, the price of Monero is much higher than it was a year ago. Also ASIC resistant PoW means incentives are in place to avoid centralizing hashrate among huge regulated ASIC farms as is the case with Bitcoin. The structure is in place to get stronger over time.
This Liquid bug wasn't a hidden inflation bug, it was detectable. It was sloppy code, like the Bitcoin overflow bug. Monero is probably the most reviewed and scrutinized privacy-focused code base on the planet.
uh man, super boring old arguments, research it yourself.
this bullshit, other bullshit, more bullshit - and the fact that monero outperforms bitcoin since 2 years already.
That's not true.
Monero outperformed Bitcoin (in fiat terms - whatever that means lol)
YTD
last year
last 2 years
last 5 years
last 10 years
since creation.
We told them that Bitcoin coin is not fungible.
We told them that maximalism is bad.
We told them that LN and liquidity are derivatives (and NOT Bitcoin).
We told them that custodians and ETFs will fuck with synthetic Bitcoin aka render the 21M coins meme irrelevant.
We told them that Core is compromised and Luke controlled opposition.
We did not tell them that Bitcoin itself uses sloppy code. Bitcoin is still one of the most secure software projects out there.
The Monero ecosystem is just as vulnerable to some attacks as Bitcoin.
Your dreams shall be continued ๐
Check it.
Many people wanted to see privacy tech implemented in Bitcoin's base layer, Monero people included.
Liquid was presented as an alternative: "we don't need privacy on the base layer and we sure as shit don't need Monero, we can have privacy in our federated sidechain instead."
It's another Bitcoin maxi product built for Bitcoin maxis who want to avoid Monero.
As a result, by pushing privacy out to a separate layer, code quality suffered and the protocol got hacked.
Liquid is absolutely relevant to Monero. It's ignoring history to assume it isn't.
It's ALSO relevant because many prominent Bitcoin people used this as an opportunity to dunk on Monero. "This is why we don't have privacy on the base layer."
That point completely misses the mark in understanding what went wrong.
People who had a favorable opinion of Liquid should understand why and how Monero is superior to Liquid.
You've formed a pretty severe case of MDS. I hope you heal.
Absolutely correct. The funniest thing is that Blockstream convinced BTC Maxis that L-BTC is BTC, even though it is a corporate shitcoin. LOL
Yeah your case is definitely an interesting one but I would definitely still call it MDS. Your reactions are too kneejerk and emotional to rational intellectually honest opinions
Both Coldcard and Liquid marketed to Bitcoin maxis who dislike Monero. They weren't shy about that. You do yourself a disservice to ignore the events unfolding and specifically their relevance to Monero. This is intellectual honesty:
You ignore it all and cast a silly net on people who like Monero to your own detriment.

You basically completely ignored my points and say I'm engaging in bad faith. Look in a mirror. You have MDS and can't have a rational conversation.
I will respond to your points regardless because you do sound curious underneath your attacks.
The surveillance boogeyman isn't the only reason to like Monero. It's easy for regular people like your family members to use it without showing everyone how much they own, and without relying on a trusted 3rd party.
Everyone acknowledges risk of bugs in Monero. Everyone acknowledges the risk of a potential hidden inflation bug in Monero. What you don't seem to understand is that this bug in Liquid was not that. It was much closer to Bitcoin's exploited inflation bug and was similarly caused by bad code. Not bad math.
Monero performed worse in 2014-2015 in 2018-2019 and 2023-2024. Else it kept stable or outperforming Bitcoin.
A lot of Bitcoin people warned about nvk. The problem is the virulent toxic maxis who didn't want to listen, and the widespread toxic maxi culture shitting up the ecosystem. Just because many Bitcoin people warned about it doesn't negate the clear as day problem that contributed to Coldcard's proliferation.
It's just a clear sign of poor intellectual honesty to shit on Monero the way Coldcard did, and the way you do. You don't really engage honestly at all and show every quality you hate, constantly.
Big mining farms aren't inevitable with Monero thanks to ASIC resistance. It doesn't matter what Satoshi said. You can't engage without introducing logical fallacy after logical fallacy ๐
What a bunch of silly pointless words shitting up the internet. Thank you for your contribution.
Actually I like to call out your retarded logic and emotional nature, it's fun. You're in too deep to start saying anything positive about Monero now, so now you're stuck making retarded point after retarded point.
๐ nice comeback!
As are you ๐ maybe some day you'll learn to swallow your pride and ego and recognize how weak your points have been. I know my faults. I am self aware that I am being toxic to you specifically, and that other guy. You can fault me for it, that's fine. Just know that if you keep trying to shit on Monero with extremely weak logic and bullshit 0 effort arguments, and this is what you'll get in response. Or block me, whatever.
I'm fine with honest debate around that point. I'm not fine with toxic shit talk of Monero and I'll continue to fight it aggressively.
Nah, I don't consistently in bad faith. I consistently lay out substantiated and intellectually honest arguments, and also throw in insults when someone is dishing it out. You're just saying some words without substance and you do that in virtually every debate we've had.
Lol
I do bash Bitcoin when it's relevant to discuss its problems that Monero solves, I don't pretend otherwise. I still like Bitcoin.
I don't present Monero as the definitive "better" alternative. I present it as a reasonable option with as much viability as Bitcoin because it's better at certain things and worse at others.
