The invention of the computer and then the internet promised a more democratic world; a world where people have more power and knowledge at their fingertips; where people would be able to resist power structures' control and manipulation for their gain at the people's expense. We've made good progress, but it hasn't fully panned out yet. Bitcoin is the next critical step fowards toward that end. I'm enjoying watching history progress.

Bitcoin makes me optimistic for a better future for humanity. Bitcoin maxis make me pessimistic.

Screeching scam at a clearly useful tool like Monero is a clear sign of someone who lacks integrity. #[0]and all the weak maxis who do this work against the interest of power to individuals. The ability to transact privately with ease is good. No amount of maxi delusions and dishonest framing will change that.

From what I can tell, Monero is a more prominent topic on nostr than Ethereum. Probably because Monero is mostly all I talk about on here, unless...
