look we know you belong to the "just say anything, even if doesn't make total sense" school of debate but just to be clear you think this sort of arrangement, where there are dozens (maybe hundreds?) of different centralized authorities with custom filters and users can pick and choose what txs their mempool sees, thats the preferred design?

I don't know what you mean by centralized authorities with custom filters do you think everyone who writes a piece of software is a central authority? if someone makes a thing and puts it online for free, and users say "hey, that does a thing I want, I will run that" or "nah, I don't like it, I won't run it" <-- there's no central authority involved
