Bitcoin: Dont trust, verify
Religious people: Believe me, I read a book written by humans 2000 years ago that says there's heaven and hell after death, and I believe it. It would be strange if a book written by many hands contained lies, made-up stories, or was completely fabricated.
By the way, of the hundreds of religions that exist, mine is the good one, believe me, all the books are wrong, my book is the good one. Trust the paper.
