I think about all the lead fishing sinkers I was exposed to as a kid. We'd literally chomp down on them to squish them onto the fishing line. That's not to mention the fumes from melting the lead to pour them into molds. The shit we used to do with Mercury as kids also makes me cringe. It's a wonder I'm not fully retarded. Or maybe it was all bullshit to stop us experimenting with these metals?
