73% of all women on the Titanic survived. Only 19% of men did. Even First-Class men, the richest on Earth, died so Third-Class women could live. This wasn't chivalry. This was ritual sacrifice. In the name of duty, honor, and masculinity. The wealthiest men stood still. Calm. Silent. Ready to drown. While women, many strangers, were saved first. They didn't ask, "Does she make six figures?""Is she loyal?" "Does she love me back?" They just gave up their seat. This is what men were. Warriors in suits. Kings in silence. Dead so she could live. Supply side biology, eggs vs sperm. Eggs are more valuable.😉
Yes and no. Why would I sacrifice myself just so someone else can get my wife pregnant later? There's more to the story! It's too simplistic. People tell these stories to justify not taking responsibility and to uphold their values.
lol you guys are simping really hardcore. Why is some woman's life I don't even know more valuable than mine? Is she a special princess or something? For the people I care about, sure. For some likely entitled woman who hates on men as a part-time job, no thank you. Masculinity and men are not afforded neither respect nor authority in society today. Therefore it would be foolish to sacrifice yourself for someone who doesn't care about you, doesn't appreciate you for what you are, and didn't care about up until the moment where it was her life or yours. Don't be stupid. You don't protect or sacrifice yourself for someone like that.
We are all equal…until we’re not. I just watched a new special on that a few nights ago, very educational. Didn’t have a lot of new information, just more specific information about things we already knew, like how long they were able to keep the power on, thanks to the engineers, who all perished. How the ship actually broke up and what it would’ve looked like, along with a simulation of what they believe the damage looked like. That part of the ship is buried under 50ft of mud but the simulation looked pretty damn accurate to what was reported. The main gash was in compartment 2,3 and 4, 1 and 5 only had holes the size of a piece of paper but that’s all it took to tip the scales. It was stated that, had they hit the iceberg head on, they would have survived and a simulation showed this to be correct. However, it would have certainly meant death for everyone in the first four compartments so the decision could not have been that easy to make in a such a short amount of time.
100% of the people opposed to central banking went down with the Titanic 1000% of the people for central banking were on a different boat or bailed last second Only 2 years later, the Federal Reserve was created 111 years of hell created by a manufactured shipwreck View quoted note →
