I will clarify this matter in a repost. I am working on adding relay management to the next version of the app. I promised I would and it is happening. Sorry if you didn't get the memo @jb55 but asking me would sufficed. By the way, I actually thought about removing the whitelist feature for relay.zapstore.dev (more on this soon). As for the "relevant who follow" feature when first installing an app, it's meant to protect users, not to create an "affinity scam" of which you accused me of. If the UX is not ideal, I appreciate constructive criticism, not passive-aggressive rants. I have zero interest in these kind of interaction when we should all be pushing freedom tech forward. Zapstore is fully nostr based and will always be. It is indeed permissionless tech, I just need a little more time to finish the feature.

I don’t want to ask for permission from anyone. I’d rather just publish an apk on my site and tell people to use obtainium or something, at least for now until im on the play store. I don’t see what advantages zapstore has for sovereign publishing over an apk and your own server, as it seems strictly worse because it is permissioned. What happened to permissionless tech?

Zapstore is already protecting users from simple sybil scams which is the most problematic with any freedom tech app accessing delicate information. Censorship would be evident, apps are not like shitposts that just vanish in the ether, creators care about them and make a ruckus if they cannot publish, and users notice very fast thanks to nostr. Even more so if there is a person with a decent follow-base trying to scam ppl publishing a "malicious app" on behalf of someone else. Cmon man, that's very unlikely even if they hate each other, there is an incentive not to wreck your entire reputation on this. Anyway, relay management is a good addition and enables extra verification, but I understand it was not the primary feature, and we always knew it was coming because it was built in the open all along. Really bullish on Zapstore, @franzap keep it up!
Appreciate the work. I've been following progress and I think this solves a really important issue. Damus is a good example of why it's needed. Sure, I can download the apk directly from Damus.io, but jb55 doesn't share any kind of verification information anywhere. How do I know the APK legit? Anyhow, thanks for the ongoing work!

how exactly am I "attacking" them. because I don't agree with their WoT design ?
Saying zapstore is strictly worse than an apk on your server is over the top dismissive of what zapstore has achieved already and completely ignores that the centralization you criticize is acknowledged and being worked on.

but it is strictly worse for sovereign publishing, where am i wrong
You said much more than that. I'm always open to criticism but everyone noticed your passive aggressive vibe, I'm sorry if you can't see it.
