So I have this idea in my head for years:
It gets so busy at work that I have no time to really think things through. The backlog keeps growing, but there is no time to sit back and reflect.
I have personal projects that are neglected for the same reason. Working on them also feels like robbing my family of their time with me.
And it’s not only about work - I just don’t have the time and mental capacity to think.
And I know this has been a problem for many people. So I think -
- what if we rent a nice big house in a nice remote place for few days, order catering and give the time for ourselves? Without any plan. If you want to spend the time coding with headphones on, no problem. If you want to talk about the things where you feel stuck, let’s do it. If you’re hungry, eat. If you’re thirsty, drink. If you need to clear your head, go for a walk in the middle of the night or drink up the bar. It’s up to you, whatever you need.
The point is to unstuck yourself. Whether it’s work, personal, psychological or physical, it’s about lifting the pressure off your shoulders. Feel free to turn off your phone and log off. Or just the opposite - try to cram in as much work as you can.
What do you say? Would you be interested to come for few days?

Yes, however I found out that retreats at https://dum.urza.cz work for this also.
I believe so, but this idea is a little bit different.
