npub.cash is easier to set up than a NIP-05 imo, and it's not nearly as valuable for them. Regardless, the Kagi CEO verified it in their community Discord:

Yeah, that makes a difference then. I'm not in their discord. So I never saw that and I haven't seen anyone post that. Or at least I missed it if somebody did.
@Derek Ross had mentioned it and I verified on my own. Good to not immediately trust though, they already have a few fake npubs in their name... 😅
