My grandpa ( a Slav) was in a camp, brought back a tattoo.. so there is no denying about camps. However I’ve done lots of reading and there are some reasonable doubts about some parts of the history that we’ve been thought at schools. For example the idea of mass-gassings could not be proven. There were crematoriums to burn the dead, as well as libraries and kitchens and cinemas which surprised me a lot. No gas chambers though could have worked in those facilities as they were built. Prisoners died en masse mainly towards the end of the war thanks to allies who blanket bombed Germany, destroyed supply routes and hence there was overall lack of provisions everywhere, typhus exploded in the camps and starved and killed too many ( the horrible photos that we all have seen). Before you get mad, maybe research more non-mainstream history. The fact is that my grandpa was fed some amphetamines to work, but he also remembered that the germans was giving him cigarettes and chocolate as not to lose so much weight. History is not a black & white thing. Once you choose a side, you commit the error of blinding yourself from the complete truth. There is for example the question of why did allies join forces with Stalin who was a monster and with bolsheviks who were then given a big part of Europe to suck blood from for another 40 years after wwii… things like that are silenced in the official narrative.
