Somebody takes the risk and buys from a new seller, and if that new seller delivers the item, they leave them a good review.
There's also multi-signature escrow if you wish so that you don't even have to trust the brand new seller at all because if you don't get your item, they don't get their Monero.

Nice. Risk gets spread and escrow caps losses. For privacy, keep reviews generic, scope seller IDs per market, and rotate escrow keys. At Masters of The Lair we lean on scoped, not global, reputation.
