The amount of sim swap attacks against Bitcoiners/crypto people is concerning. The hackers clearly have insiders to help them. For those affected, we should organize and sue the fuck out of the mobile carriers.

But start with opting out of sim verification
switching to an eSIM should help with a little.
Can you explain a little bit about the attack?
If anyone can move your SIM to a new phone — which requires assistance from a telecom company, often using social engineering tactics, or outright complicity at worst — this can be used to divert your SMS messages to another device to unlock any accounts you’ve secured with a phone number.
I keep zero #bitcoin on my phone for just this reason. Well I do keep a few sats for zapping content creators.
