The first release of our main editor & publisher is live on #Alexandria ๐ now!
From here, we can publish a list of notes, or notes grouped together as an article with events as sections, even a collection of articles.
Alexandria aims to be a place for ideas, at whatever level of polish, a place where you can see them grow.
Here's a video tutorial, along with a link to the tutorial in article form! ๐

One of my favorite projects on nostr! A couple of questions:
First of all, how do I access the editor? I cannot find a link in the article. I can build from source if there's no hosted instance, but then I need a repo link.
Some general questions about the (current or planned) capabilities. Let's say I want to write an article with multiple literature references, quotes etc., serving as a "hub article" connecting multiple influences of mine. I imagine the process would go like this:
1. I ramble a little using my own words - normal stuff written in asciidoc, each paragraph stored in a separate event, with an ordering defined by paragraph-paragraph links (probably also specified as events).
2. I quote or reference another text. If the text is already published on nostr, I'd like to link it as a reference to a particular sentence or paragraph (probably using a special event kind). If the referenced text is not on nostr yet, I publish it myself, providing metadata like author, year, media type, title etc.
3. From time to time, instead of writing something by myself, I just want to embed a whole paragraph from someone else, like a sample that you'd use in a rap track ๐
4. I go back to my own rambling and the process continues.
As a result, I'd like to get a cloud of interconnected nodes in the visualizer, with my article being a central hub. Different colors of connections would denote different types of interdependencies (quote, reference, direct inclusion). Is it possible do something like this?

That looks super pro!! ๐ I just published an article through Yakihonne... Will have to try Alexandria next time ๐
Thank you forthe explanation. Sounds like Chinese (Bahnhof) to me ๐ Ok, but what I understood, is that I can write kind of a book. So if I make a series of articles with similar topics, I can actually paste it in Alexandria...in one doc?
Here's the Jumble link to your printed book:

Jumble - Imwald Edition ๐ฒ
A user-friendly Nostr client focused on relay feed browsing and relay discovery. The Imwald edition focuses on publications and articles.
That's really cool. I will see, if I manage this on my own ๐
