This post makes me angry 🤔
People will always care more about things closest to them. If you have a gay child, you'll care more about gay rights than genocide. If you have friends who are gazans you'll care the other way around.
Not saying you won't care about one of them, but you'll prioritise how much mind you give to the many things you care about.
When I hear on podcasts how "the sheep" have no desire to question themselves, and this is why they suffer X Y or Z, I believe that the presenter is doing the exact same thing in other areas in their lives, yet they fail to see the irony of the general statement they make.
